I have observed users/students easily grasping the new menu structure as it makes much more sense to them to access features through 'CREATE', 'MODIFY', 'VERIFY', 'ADVANCED', etc., as opposed to 'POINT', 'LINE', 'PIECE', etc. From a teaching standpoint, I think it is much easier to teach than 8.5.1 as the functions are arranged according to process, rather than geometry. Things have simply been rearranged in a new menu structure. The functionality they have become accustomed to over the years is still there and works the same way (and there are some new features that are extremely helpful, as well). ![]() My clients have found the switch from 8.5.1 to 10.1 quite easy. ![]()
